I would say "No". You can like a person you meet on the internet, you can start falling in love and you fantase about him/her and you are idealising him/her. You can also start falling in love with someone's voice. But in my opinion you can only REALLY fall in love after you've met the person. It's about the complete picture.

If you want to fall in love you can, it's very easy, you're attach to the other, as for if it's real love ....... i think you know it only if and when you meet the person in real of course, but it's very easy to feel love if you want to.

Sure you can fall in love through the net. However, I think you'll have to meet before starting a relationship.
