i drempt i was getting beaten up last night (again)
it wouldnt be so bad except i had the same dream 4 times last night... the core elements of it are always the same as i have it most nights and it always wakes me up as i feel pain in my dreams and i think theres just like an auto shut off mechanism or something going on. anyhow the last time i had it last night it had a new ending... (well kind of... im always killed at the end...) i was run through by a broadsword... slightly inventive there.

anyone else feel pain in their dreams??

oh and the thing about not hitting the ground or seeing yourself die in dreams is crap... i do it a lot.

Few nights ago I had a not so nice dream..well, nightmare actually.
Me and my friend were 'driving' a bus with a black stick..dunno how it was supposed to work Anyway, Richie was inside a hot air balloon (except the balloon was like a huge tent) which was hanging behind the bus by a thin string ..then suddenly the string broke and the hot air 'balloon' started to float towards the ocean.. By now I see headlines in my head 'Richie in a hot air balloon accident' Next thing I know is that Richie had fallen to the ocean, far away from the land and no one knows is he dead or alive... and no one went to rescue him Then I woke up... ..not a nice dream

Colleen and I were talking about this last night. Some people claim you can't feel pain in your dreams, but it's not true! When I dreamed that about a wasp stinging me, I felt pain in my dream. It's not the first or only time I've felt pain in a dream. I don't think I've ever dreamed about falling or dying.

I've got another question about dreams... do any of you ever dream about dreaming or have dreams that reference other things you've dreamed?

For instance, I had a dream that I was in the old house where my grandmother, great aunt Val, and mom grew up. It's where I spent a lot of my childhood. I had taken my own child, a son, with me and I was showing him 3 rooms in the upstairs part of the house and in each of the three rooms were dreams I had had at some point in my life previously. Then I heard my great uncle calling for help and I got scared and grabbed my son and ran out.

I've also dreamed about telling someone about a dream I had, or that I was asleep and dreaming. LOL Or had a dreams that seemed to be a continuation of a previous dream at a later date.

Nope Becky, never really had that one. When I was like 9 or 10, I had a dream about getting up and going to the Frige, or the Icebox and I woke up peeing in a corner of my kitchen. I once had a dream where people were yelling at me and I would wake up and tell them to shut up. My mom came in and asked what was wrong with me. I just said I didn't know. I also had a dream that I was on Ducktales. That was really strange. I think I was the kids sister. They were out to kill me or something.

I believe in the last dream I had, I was motoring along the highway in Pittsburgh (although I can't even drive yet) when I saw smoke coming from a boat in the distance. As I got closer I saw that the boat was on fire, and as I drove along, it followed parallel to me. Then it started doing wheelies and eventually crashed into a bunch of re-bar. Not sure what it means.

I could go on and on about my dreams but I'd rather not.

I get shot a lot in some of my dreams ( :E ) and I can feel the impact and burning sensation, although Ive never died

that comes from playing those games just before bed......

ive been shot before and i guess my brain does quite a good projection as to what getting shot would feel like. have been shot by a pellet gun so have a vague idea....

come to think of it ivce also been shot at with a sniper rifle.... (thats for real) and not in a military situation either... they missed my head tho

and yeah ive drempt that im dreaming. aloso dreampt that im dreaming and then come in and made me change what i was dreaming by talking to me. very bizzare.

i also refer to dreams a lot. so yeah it happens
