my sentiments exactly on the ira goose.

havign family and friends in belfast i've been there alot and u can't really understand it until u've seen it first hand but now they're all just gangsters and thats including the "loyalists" too.

Bush will kill far more in the long run than Osama ever will. Osama already looks like a slacker next to Bush. Bush got as many civvies in Iraq as Al Qaida got on 9/11. I predict that 2 of these countries are "liberated from evil regimes" by the time Bush gets out of office in 2008.

This is a goof, right? The idea that this thread is actually going to have some good points is possible but the fact is, the underlying thread is always the same: we have the US, Americans are fat and stupid and lazy, Americans suck.
So, while you might have some good points, your course of delivery is not helping your message... the messenger has zero reliability or credibility. You're constant anti-Americanism is almost as common as your constant Jon-bashing... hmmm, you think there's a connection? There's a sociological thesis for you... and maybe some sort of Freudian connection to your mudder... hmm....

And English people are also fat and smell. So what? I saw a lot of English people who could shed a few pounds over my vacation.
