Maybe because they actually learn the language instead of it being their mother tongue or they are smarter..

im having a bad time at the moment... but the other day i hit a turning point and said 'screw it- sh*t happens, get on with it'.

thing is though, from this point on, it dont get any lower than this... so now a hell of a lot of things are going to be a walk in the park. the real challenge will come with more news, but thats kinda nice, cause i know that i can just try and get on with what i have left of my life than worry bout what i dont have left that other people do....

(sorry if that makes little sense)

You shouldn't really start a sentence with "And" in which case maybe it would have been best to have said:

"... spelling and a *pat on the head*" ?

I give you a lifetime supply of thanks for that flower sticker though, and a few more things I shouldn't type here...

Contrary to popular belief, experienced writers can start a sentence with and. Pick up a copy of your favorite book, and you will see that a great deal of authors do this.

True Mouse And (note the start of the sentence here ) you can use and, or etc. to start a sentence, it's not good writing style to use it constantly, and even when it's not adviced to do in essays and formal writing, it can be used in them even sometimes for emphasis, as long as it's not used excessively.
