Needless to say I was chuckling to myself... If you break the rules with style you can get away with it, and get the highest mark!

it depends a very lot if the teacher is open or close minded.
I remmebr being in highschool and some girl just as you decsribed got a 10 in Romanian lesson. The teacher said to her she learned the whole thing but it's ok if she can't do it else.
I got a 6 and she told me i only tried to fool her even i didn't read the novels....
I was so angry and it's so subjective...because wrote my own points of view...what is actually asked and got a 6 and that girl learned what was already witten in some book, so she got no persnonality in her work at all and she got a ten.
I think that was the last time in high-school i cared about a mark.
*marks in Romania are from 1 to 10, 1 being the worst and 10 the best. If you have a 4 averrage in 3 objects you must repeat the year and if you have 1(or 2) 4 averrage(s) you must write some exam in summer and if you don't pass it you must reapeat the year aswell.
