is being a rock fan harder today than ten years ago?

personnaly, I think so. 10 years ago, you could walk the streets and see many many leathers jackets, hard-rock tshirts, long haired boys... but now that rap and dance are fashions, all you see are bold heads, street ware... and when you ask for a disc in a record shop (a japanese import), they answer that they can't have it because they need to sell it. but they have 20 japanese imports for britney spears and all this kind of stuff. having long hair is not being rebel now... and because I'm so different, I don't watch the same real TV programs... don't think the same way... I'm a dinosaur. man! I'm only 28 and I don't understand wher's going society! is it all the youth wants? rap, drinking, smoking drug? I blame nobody, there's a place for everybody and every style of everything everywhere, but do they know the real sense of word "music"?
so... I hope the world will change. If I could, I'd live on th etop of a mountain and let the world going his way.

i'm talking about how people can see you (can think about you) when you're not like everybody !!! When i'm with my friends, most are a bit older, and don't wear the same clothes as me ... they all have a nice haircut etc ...
It happened recently someone told my friend she has a beautiful daughter ... she was talking about MY Rachel !!! but i think it's because i haven't got "a mummy look", people don't believe i can have kids
