You can love a person without thinking that everything they do is right. Jesus also taught "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." And contrary to popular believe, "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" is NOT Biblical. It's part of a verse that says something to the extent of, "It has been said unto you an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, but I say unto you if someone slaps you on your right cheek turn to him your left..."

umm the eye for a eye thing is biblical. Exodus 21:22-25 -
22 - If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart and yet no mischeif follow : he shall be surely punnished, according as the womans husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 - Eye for a eye, tooth for a tooth, hand for a hand, foot for a foot.
24 - Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
Not sure what it all means but yup the eye for a eye thing is in there.
