honestly, i don't know, for me jt is a part of my life - just like some friends or other activities .... but for my family jovitalk is a poison, and i can understand them, with the virus problem we have again, we are talking about keeping internet or not actualy, it's really at this point !! we decided, if we can find something really sure this time, we'll keep it, and if this virus is still here again after we bought a new anti virus - virus killer and all (maybe this evening) then we'll stop using internet .... back to life
Jess - Are you sure the virus is coming from Jovitalk? I have used the internet for many years and only put virus protection on my machine 2 weeks ago as I got a new computer. I have been coming here for 6 months and have never seen a virus. I have received a few virus through e-mail but I recognise the file types and don't open them. In order to completely get rid of a virus - you must reformat you hard drive - not just repair the program.

I am an engineer and I work for myself - so I spend a lot of time on the computer anyway. Everyone needs a little break from work now and then.

Kathleen
no, not from jovitalk, i'm sorry if i wasn't clear enough (like usual), ..... and for the reformat thing .... i did it last week after we had lost everything on the hard drive, the virus blocked it if you see what i mean, and now it's back ! mcafee, norton and others are useless, someone told me about an italian site to help but i can't find it, i think it's part of mcafee, and it scans online or something like that, i don't know, it's hard to explain it in english for me .... anyway, i'm tired of all this ..... i'll see, thanks

Isn't it cool, that u can surf net while getting good salary too. Why u want to change the job any way?.

Any way what does life means any way?.
I want to change my job, because I actually like to work and be busy. Doing nothing all day at work, I can do at home. Although the upside is that I do get paid!

If you were a teenager living in this town with nothing to entertain us (and believe me, there is NOTHING -- only Music in Park friday nights, which is good if the band is playing good music) - you'd be on JT a lot too...even though i haven't been on much lately And i suppose i'll be on it less since i'm going to try and get a job after i get back, so as to start saving up for my car and my many BJ tickets for their next tour Nothing's going to stop me next time! :P

I can relate to that. Some days I'm extremely busy and don't spend any time in the office. But those days when I'm stuck in the office, I'm extremely bored. I get all my paperwork done really fast and I have a lot of time to play on line. I spend much less time on the internet when I'm at home and on weekends. But at work... it's just too easy to goof off!

Welcome to the club of bored teenagers. When a friend drove me home today at half past 6 I had to see again that there were rarely people on the street. If there weren't some friends from the other towns around I'd die because it's so boring (there are only exactly 5 people here of my age with who you can talk without using the "hey, jo, such a f*cking sh!t" language all the time). So what else should I do when they are on vacation or busy with anything else? From all the towns around we finally were 4 going to the open air pool today after calling almost everyone we know who isn't on vacation what isn't a lot. Well, so we spend so much time in the internet (and I at JT) that we usually don't need a phone because we have the icq number of the others. Well, Jana knows how fascinating it is for me to be in a city

Replace 'sex' with fishing, add 'friends' as an option and that's my life
