They always say money doesn't make you happy ... That's totally true but if you turn the thing around it makes perfectly sence :
Without money, you'll be unhappy ...

Money doesn't buy happiness but it helps if you have it!

It depends on how much of a pay cut it was. If I could do something I really loved, I probably would take the opportunity. You can always work on making more money again doing what you loved.

Yup really. You get used to having a certain amount of money. At school I went on work experience with the council as a Dog Warden, I really loved it but they get paid just above the minimum wage. Its fair enough having a job what you love but whats the point if it doesn pay for you to do the things you love when youre not at work??? My motto is Work to live not live to work!!!

So in other words, if you got the option to be JBJ's personal assistant for minimum wage you wouldn't do it??

I agree. Money isn't evil. That's like saying cheesecake is evil "because it makes you gain weight." Well, no, if you eat too much cheesecake you gain weight. There's nothing inherently evil about the cheesecake, just as there's nothing inherently evil about money. It's a thing, material, and it only has as much power as is given to it by an individual.
