I think it depends on the person. Money is important. You need it to survive. Unfortunately, our society has placed a huge emphasis on money and financial status. Everyone wants bigger and better than they have. Some people will never have enough no matter how much they have. I have an aunt like that. But her husband is just the opposite. You ask him what he needs and he tells you nothing, that he has all he wants. Personally, I want to make enough money to live comfortably. For me that means a nice home and car and enough money where I don't have to worry about my finances. Although, if I ever won the lottery, I wouldn't turn the money down. Money makes the world go around. But I think how you look at the importance of money is what's important.
