yeah

those tv shows are mental, if you even go through a red light by accident they pull their guns and scream GET OUT OF THE CAR! HANDS ON YOUR HEAD! and bend you over the bonnet..

no wonder so many people get shot

i'm not saying it's not good. i'm saying that in every country there are isolated cases. something that mongoose talked about first. isolated incidents.

also to answer to mouse.... i have not been there but i know people who live there quite well. also i watch the news!
and i have learned many things in the university about the US laws and how the system works. you know here we get to learn about other countries....
actually the majority of the movies that i watch are american and they usually don't show anti american stuff.

Actually, from everything you just posted you've just proved my point. Hearsay and news and Uni..what a great way to learn about a country. Like I said, talk to me once you have visited here. Better wear your bullet proof vest though!!

By the way, here we also learn about other countries. Greek history is a huge part of our curriculum. You wouldn't know that though.

so you think that i have to come there on vacation for example and wait out on the roads until someone gets shot or maybe better until someone shoots me so i can have tangible proof. how smart...
no, university is not the best way to learn about a country but you can still learn many things about its laws and its system. so simple
