Is the E.U. the coming of the anti christ?

The EU isn't a revived Roman empire. I've been reading stuff about the Second Coming since 1998(that's when I got interested in the Second Coming theories), and everybody's been proven wrong. Besides, the EU will never control the US, or China or Russia, I don't believe.

IMHO, they're all quacks. Except for that stuff about the mark of the beast. That could happen.

The roman empire thing is basically just a guideline from what i understand. Just a simelar thing to it is whats expexted same with the kings thing i imagine that a reference to the people in power in there various countrys. King was the only refrence for the man in power in history. I dont know if its true or not and i havent read any second coming things but if you could pass me on any links about it i would be very intrested. I dont belive the eu is the making of the anti christ and until millions dissapear of the face of the earth i wont change my mind.

One of the books I read was called something like "Are We Living In The End Times." I think it was by Tim Lahaye and some other guy - the two who wrote the Left Behind series. Its pretty whacked out stuff. These guys use stuff like Russian helicopter skeleton composition to support their claims. They were on to something pretty good with their first 3 end-of-the-world related books, but the rest have just sucked. IMHO
