More than spam, I think it's annoying to see a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote within a quote. It's such a waste of space.

I hate that too, and I have specifically made a post in the Silver Screen Forum asking people not to do it. If they do it too much there I would edit their posts.

I'm not really bothered about it. If I don't like what I'm reading I'll stop reading that topic and that's it.

However, I do understand it's much worse for the mods

I think that when there are a few people having a conversation at the same time you can hardly turn this into a pm, however I do then wonder why people dont go into chat when they know they are on the board at the same time.

If Im having a one to one conversation in a thread that goes off topic I always then try and turn to pming.

But it is a message board and people get to know eacother and want to have conversations and it cant alway be done in PM if there is say, 3 people in the conversation. I think if you go into a thread and its like that then you can just leave cant you.Dont see why its a big deal but would be more annoying to the mods. Also i think that the quote thing is very annoying. But what can you do?!
