again i do not agree. if this would not be such an important religious place for both religions then there would not be so much fighting there. and then the state isreal is there because of the religion, otherwiese it would have been placed somewhere else.

Erm no isreal lost the land at some point i think during the nazi war. Then they reclaimed it again. IMO they had every right to reclaim it. We reclaimed our land (well most of it) from england we had the right to do so then too.

so is there a special gene that makes *jews* good at making money or something? this is the same generalisation hitler used to exterminate the jews. or maybe your dna or mine writes 'spanish' or 'greek'? you're not spanish because you have a 'spanish' dna but because you were born in spain and you can change your citizenship if you want to. if you were born in the US you would have the american citizenship no matter your parents' citizenship.
nationalities exist only to serve the idea of the nation state. the states need it not only for legal reasons but also for instilling nationalistic feelings into their citizens so they defend their countries everytime it's needed and work for them.
nationality is only a legal relationship between people and the states and you may have two or none or you can just lose it or change it.
so, saying that there is a higher class that is consisted of rich 'jews' (who's to say this?) that rule the world is far from reality and above all science.

Well then tell me why Jews have been hated through centuries? And I won't buy the "they-killed-Jesus" thing.

Obviously that was a generalization, but as things stand I think a huge amount of money is on their hands.

Plus, I wasn't talking of Jews as a nationality but as a 'race' more like. And then there are certain genes that do apply. Again, not saying they all are rich, but for the most part they are. Why else would they have a lobby in the US?

well i agree for one part and disagree with another. they have a lot of money and that's why they now have quite a lot of power. agree. but the reason why they have a lot of money is not "because they are good at making money", it's because they got rich with running banks etc., which was simply not allowed for christians in the first place. plus they have a religion that gets quite good along with science, so many of them cared a lot more about science than the european chrisitans did. that's why so many famous mathematicians or physicists have been jews. and that's another reason (the mathematics), why they made good money with banks and insurance companies. so there religion is indirect reason for them having a lot of money, so it's also indirect reason for them having power.

They're extremely intelligent, practical people. And throughout history they've showed that. That's why they were expelled from Spain back in 1492, they were getting way too righ. That's why they were attacked in Germany in the 1930s. They had many shops, banks, etc, and they were getting rich while most Germans were going through a crisis. People thought it wasn't right that these "immigrants" were making money while they were nearly starving.

Jews have been hated over time because they always stick together and look after each other. They were hated in Roman times because, like the Christians, they didn't change their faith to save their own lives. They were hated in Germany because they were the only ones with money. It's not necessarily that they are good with money, but more that they will help a fellow Jew and not a non-Jew. They will always stick together. Why they are hated now? Probably to do with their treatment of Palestinians, the way that they feel the world owes them something now.. I really don't know, but it is always the Jews that seem to do okay in live. Something that can also been seen as just being good business people I guess!!
And for the record: Being a Jew is not being part of a race, it is a religion and not a creed.

That's not true. Anti-Semitism goes far beyond how much money Jews have. Nazis attacked Jews because it was part of their ideology, normal Germans didn't. Maybe they weren't liked but they weren't beaten either.

That's not true. Anti-Semitism goes far beyond how much money Jews have. Nazis attacked Jews because it was part of their ideology, normal Germans didn't. Maybe they weren't liked but they weren't beaten either.

Sure is, it wasn't Hitler who came up with it. It has a long 'tradition' if this word is allowed to be used here. Yet, I suppose reading Hitlers "Mein Kampf" would help to 'understand' a lot of things better - if this word is allowed, too.
