It's nearly Summer

because it is my busy time of the year and it won't get easier until the next year march. just the thought that it is only around the corner gives me a stomach ulcer.

I thought april till september was ur not so busy time (may be my memeory is fading lol). Well same here too but only till end of august, i don't think i can take whole year busy time.... I hope u get offer from somewhere better place (i'm also desperate to change job though)....

that's how it used to be. Now there is no slow time anymore and my real busy time starts in June. I have to cram my training and vacation into april and may. Absolutely ridiculous.

I dream of the day I can tell my boss to f off.

why do you hate your job so much allwyn?

I love summer. Just about 1 month ago it was still snowing a little bit. Now, the car in my sig can come out to play since there is no more salt on the roads. It's light much later and everything is so green.
It's a good time of year. It's also very busy workwise. When the weather improves and the ground isn't frozen, engineers like me get very busy trying to get everything done that couldn't be done during the winter.

Thats really sucks... Why can't they hire another person to share ur work???. OR can't u have some assistant?.

Any hope of finding job somewhere else?. I know with ur experience its wont be too hard IMO....

First of all as u know they gave me this work which i'm not suppose to be doing... Well i started doing hotel reservation too coz i had lot of time and my manager asked me too and i also thought it will be good idea to get experience in this field too... Even job is not so bad and it keeping me busy most of the time.... but worst thing is debt... they even cut significant tmoney from my last month salary to cover some mistake i made (hey come on i'm doing my best and is this the way i get reward for helping ???). And its with most of my co worker, every one got debt and before they leave the company they need to clear it or else they will cut it from ur salary.... Its really ridculous but thats how travel industry work(At least here)... And summer we will be real busy and we won't be have time to chk each and everything so mistakes bound to happend... so i really want to get out of of here before it (actually i would have if my visa would have done a year back...).

Hopeing and trying that something better comes along....soon...

I hope you do find something else soon Paying back a debt because of a mistake really sucks. Everyone makes mistakes. Its natural.

Summer is our busiest time as well. I love Summer but not really looking forward to it at all this year.

but it is - I am too specialized. There aren't a lot of companies around that would need someone like me But I am having one that I am contemplating - it all depends on the pay, I really do need to make as much as I am making now. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

that is truly unbelievable. Why would somebody work there if they are individually responsible??? Oh yeah, cause they can.

I'm keeping fingers cross for u . Well i'm sure somewhere they will make a opening which u can fit into and yeah salaray will be always a problem... especially when ur working for a biggest company in the world, i guess not many offord same kind of salary i guess... But i'm sure some company will do ... hopefuly u get in one of that....


ITs how travel industry work here... Its always indvidual work.... You see i'm in double edge sword... I wanted the company to issue the work visa a soon as possible and mean time i want to change the job before i get the work visa.. I want them to issue it coz at least after a year i can go to other job but i really really want to get a job somewhere else where i have more IT related work....., better timing(stright shift and not double shift like i'm having now.... And ofcourse better salary lol
But its so sooo hard to get a job anywhere without transferable visa(work visa after a year).... but i still have hope and think there is a reason behind dely in me getting visa... (just hoping lol).

we are really not paid all that well, considering the company's earnings. They are notorious for not paying well, as it used to be that all your pay-off came from stock options - well that isn't true anymore and the salaries never adjusted. But with all the cutbacks and such, other companies don't pay well either...

Well its still high pay compare to other compnies right?. Or else why u think u can't get job else where with same kind or higher salary??.
