This year was really good for me, I finished my first year of my current degree, and did better than I expected, and I made a new friend early in the year and we've gotten to be very close over summer and to now.

The end of the year was a bit boring, but the rest made up for that, and next year I'll be doing a placement year for my degree so if I can get a good one that is something to look forward to (plus getting paid will be great too lol)

2005 was weird for me too. The first half was really hard with the end of the school and the final exam...I had to study hard but in the end I finished school with the highest result, and that was great. The holiday I had planned with my bestfriend didn't take place, but we managed to have a quiet short holiday together anyway. I had many troubles with boys, but now it's ok. And then I had a wonderful holiday with my sister just before the beginning of the lessons at university. I made my first exam and I enjoy university life a lot. I've got tickets for 3 BJ concerts so everything's going right I think.... So, 2005 not bad but 2006 can actually be better!!

We all know things can't change from 31st December 11:59 PM to January 1st 24:01 AM...it's obvious... but I think it's not wrong to look back to the year that's going to end and wish something good for the new one. Just my opinion.

If people had no hope that things could be better - it would be a very depressing world.

2005 was an "off" year as far as I was concerned. My eldest son got married in January to his longtime girlfriend and that was a nice way to start the new year. I had several friends visit from places far away and that was nice also.

Work was not great though, when money is tight in general, engineers don't do very well. With the high oil prices in this country, money was a lot tighter for everyone and my business has suffered.

The year ended well though - a bunch of good concerts - and more to look forward to next summer.

Nothing like concerts to smooth things out a bit, even if they do hurt your hip pocket a little! Nice to see some priorities in someone's life!

2005 went far too quick for me, maybe because I spent a few weeks in January and October in Argentina. All in all, it was a pretty good year. Workwise it was great although there were times I'd have loved to slow down and do something different. I went to some shows, all of them great. My family and friends have all been healthy and happy. Only thing is hubby's work has suffered a big change and he hasn't been very motivated lately.

Now, there are a few things going on at work and who knows what will happen to me in 2006. I just believe things happen for a reason. I may end up living in a different country sooner than I imagine. We'll see. In any case, I'm certainly hoping for a healthy, prosperous and exciting 2006.

Majority of 2005 kinda sucked for me. I got srewed over on my birthday which was hurtful and humiliating, and for the most part of the year I just felt alone.

But there were some good moments and things to come out of this year;
-Went to Amsterdamn with some old college mates for the first time which was awesome.
-The summer was a nice break and eased off the hurt from my relationship, having my friends with me.
-I'm now with my girlfriend of 3 months and is going great. The first girl I've ever loved.

As for 2006;
-Starting university next September/October
-Bon Jovi tickets for Southampton in June
-Driving test *fingers crossed*
-and ofcourse my teenage years will come to an end on July 1st when I turn 20. (Not that it will change anything, its just a number)

But coming to University could lead to the end of my relationship, which will happen if we don't end up in the same Uni. If it's the case, I will not looking forward to it.

But I'm living for the moment and enjoying what I have now as I'm the happiest I've been in a long time.
