2005 one day left and its nearly over! This year has been pretty shite for me as one thing happened that wasnt very good at all. Just because the door closes on 2005 doesnt mean that the next year will be any better, years/days/months are what people make of them.

I do have things to look forward to in 2006 but I also have days that I dont want to happen as they'll remind me of this year.

Everything is what you make it so the outcome depends on yourself....

2005 was a weird year for me also:

Bad things:

My father in law did get cancer (prostate), which doesn't look too good at the moment

I got ripped off €1250 by a Turkish car salesmen, I bought a car off him and he sold me a car which was totally ****ed up (problems with gear and stuff like that). I managed to sell the car for €500 (I bought it for €1750).

Good Things:

My new car, it's a great one a Peugeot 306

The gigs I had with my band from work

I've got a really sweet girlfriend for over 2 1/2 years now

Hopefully 2006 will be a great year with great Jovi shows and hopefully my father in law will recover from his cancer.

Well, 2005 was better than 2004, and i hope 2006 will be better again

In 2005, we managed to do all we wanted (things at home, seeing family, holiday in summer) simple things but they made us feeling good. Work was ok, no big big problems ! Unfortunely around us it wasn't all good. I lost a good friend (cancer) just before Christmas, his sons and his daughter will be sad each Christmas in their life now i guess.

Now all i want in 2006 is health of course but also, at last a permanent job ! i'd like to make plans. I'd like to finish what we have to do in the house, i'd like to go to Italy next summer with the kids and i'd like to find a good baby sitter !!!!!!!!!!! lol ... to go out more often ....
Again, simple things but that would make me happy

I say GOOD RIDDANCE to 2005!!!!! I went to more funerals in 2005 than I did in all the years combined leading up to it. I went to at least one funeral every month during 2005, except for December. I had an outfit set aside just for them. They say bad things happen in threes?? Well, it was multiples of threes this year! I lost my dog early in the year, I had a family fall out, had some health issues, work sucked (it was here that most of the deaths were from, either co-workers or their family members), plus a lot of little things that by themselves would have been OK to deal with, but when you added them in to everything else it just made life even more miserable. I started to get the feeling that nothing would ever go right again...bring on 2006 and let's pray that it goes better than 2005 did.

Not my greatest year!
Seperated after 13 years of marriage, some positives to come from that but a whole load of headaches aswell.
Hoping to change my job in 2006 i'm sick of getting up at 4am and looking after builders on a building site, i need something else to do!
Got a ticket for Bon Jovi at Wembley so thats a bonus.
Goals for this year include getting financially stable and sorting out a divorce.
I would also like to go on holiday as i haven't done that for almost 10 years.
