Oh, Panama you do know a lot!!!

Some families are changing to Santa Claus and getting their presents on Dec 25, which I don't really like Traditionally, at least in my family, you get a small present on the night of the 24, left by the child Jesus

On "Día de Reyes" (do you speak Spanish???? ) people do the same things as most do on the 25 elsewhere. Getting up early, opening presents, spending the day with the family, being happy... And we have a traditional kind of sweet which is called "Roscón de Reyes". It's a sort of crown... and it's delicious!

I love setting up the manger!! Building the scenery, unwrapping the figurines, etc. It's just great. And yes we're supposed to move the Kings a little bit closer each day... but at least in mine it's pretty difficult because of space problems so let's just say they really come overnight

I just love most Christmas traditions and this time of the year. And January 6 is one of the most special days in the year... It is for me anyway!!

So tell me, how come you know so much about Spanish Christmas traditions, Panama?

i would say i was spanish but my spanish sucks right? lol
well i do know how to speak a little spanish, but when i was learning it we used to tlk abt spanish tradtions a lot! it was so cool because i really didnt know of particular nations doing something completely different. for example here..its santa clause and over in spain its the Kings who bring the presents. i always thought it was fun. and i think during my spanish oral exam i tlked a little bit about it . (must have impressed them cause got a star!)

but i dont know enough. it would be great if i could just go over there this time of year and see what its really like. but i must have missed loads out!! you have to tell us more.

I'm sure you can speak much more Spanish than you confess to!!

As for Spanish Christmas I don't think there's much more to it than we've already mentioned! We've covered most of it!

Maybe now you could try and speak Spanish :P

It's here neither but I live in a Bundesland where there are the least days off work. Some times I wish I'd live in Bavaria LOL.

I think the Russians also celebrate Christmas with presents on January 6.
