January Blues???

I wish January could go on for about 5 months... skip February - June and just get back in July. I'm dreading the upcoming half year after this month a lot . Got to do my internships, working 5 months on some boring project, 40 hours a week with not much left for other things and terribly underpayed... Now why was I studying?

Oh yes it is! Only you people don't know what to make of it Last year I was job-hunting for over three months and days flew by and I had the greatest time, doing nothing at all or whatever I wanted most of the time. Believe me when I say I only work for the money. I'd give anything to be rich and idle.

Yes i know and in winter for him it's more less the same than summer where i live :s Not fair ..... !

yeah, January is miserable

it's only lasting so long for me because next term I have a really ideal class schedule and of course having something to look forward to means all the time until then slows way down

my school has two campuses, I live on one and go to class on the other, and I'm at the other campus straight through from 7 to 4...next tri it'll be from 11:30-5, which fits my love of sleeping in much better

Its ok for you, when its winter there youre jumping ship to over here!!! Although dont expect the weather to be much better

Seriously though I have been depressed quite a bit over the last month or so, and I know exactly what you mean by the January blues. It seems so far away from summer. The days are short. You go to work in the dark, come home in the dark, spend your time trying to get warm, feel constantly tired. All these things have an affect.

I totally understand. And its even harder to cope when the heat is working in your house (for the second time this winter). It figures that there is a problem as soon as it gets really cold, because up until last week, we were having a mild winter. Now a cold snap and the freaking heater won't work upstairs!!
