Cant help you with the Jersey-part (sure Kathleen can though hehe).
If you wonder what else to see in the USA ---> Southwest!!! Ive been there for 1 month last year (California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona) and loooooooooooooooooooooooved it!

Sorry,. I just seen this pic online and LOVED it......a pic from (I think) Hoboken, looking out over NY). Wow!

I always remember being in Hoboken, NJ and thinking I could almost reach out and touch the skyline. Very strange feeling!

We haven't gone yet - we're going this Sunday - and probably going to freeze our asses off LOL. I take pictures of the things that will be torn down (the bastards) and either post 'em or send 'em.

That's a gorgeous picture Kev - you don't even see the mile of river in between you and the city.
