IN A set of papers gathering dust in a Los Angeles court office file lies the chilling evidence that damns Michael Jackson.

The evidence the weird superstar wanted no one to see. That he rejected as lies.

Today the News of the World has obtained copies of sworn depositions taken from the singer's sensational 1993 legal battle with 13-year-old Jordy Chandler—the youngster who shook the world by claiming Jackson had abused him.

The depositions—from Jordy and his stepfather David—never reached court.

Jackson paid £16 million to settle the civil lawsuit and issued a statement insisting it was not an admission of guilt.

But now those sinister papers—mouldering for 10 years in a filing cabinet—are rustling again.

Their details of alleged sexual acts at Jackson's Neverland ranch and Jordy's home are sickening.

But we believe—in the light of Jackson's shocking TV documentary with Martin Bashir— they must be published.

We have shown our dossier to the former head of Scotland Yard's Paedophile Unit Bob McLachlan. He also saw the Bashir interview in which Jackson admitted sleeping with boys at Neverland. One of them, 12-year-old Gavin Arvizo, held hands with the star on camera.

McLachlan's verdict is damning. What will yours be?

Jordy's statement, never before published in such full, chilling detail reveals how he met the singer — then 34 — when Jackson went to Jordy's stepfather's car rental business to hire a limo.

JORDY: "He began calling me on the phone. Conversations would last as long as three hours. We talked about Neverland."

The first invitation to the ranch was in February 1993. Jordy went with his mum June and half-sister Lily, five, staying in the guest area.

JORDY: "We went on jet skis and golf cart rides. He took Lily and me to Toys R Us and we were allowed to get anything we wanted."

McLACHLAN'S VERDICT: "The grooming begins. A large part of the process of seducing a child is to lavish him with gifts, trips and his time so the paedophile can eventually seduce him and satisfy his lust."

In March 1993, Jackson took the three to a Las Vegas hotel. Lily and her mum were in one room while Jordy stayed with Jackson.

JORDY: "I watched The Exorcist in Michael's bedroom. I was scared. He suggested I spend the night with him. There was no physical contact."

After the Vegas trip, however, the invitations to Jackson's bed increased. At Neverland, at Jordy's house and at hotels in New York, Florida and Europe.

McLACHLAN'S VERDICT: "Very cunning. The Exorcist has scared the boy into a classic childhood place of safety in the dark — in bed with an adult he trusts."

From now on in Jordy's words, the full horror enfolds.

"Physical contact between Michael Jackson and myself increased gradually. The first step was simply Michael hugging me. The next step was for him to give me a brief kiss on the cheek.

" He then started kissing me on the lips, first briefly and then for a longer period of time. He would kiss me while we were in bed.

" The next step was when Michael put his tongue in my mouth. I told him I didn't like that. Michael started crying. He said there was nothing wrong with it. He said that just because most people believe something is wrong, doesn't make it so.

"Michael told me another of his young friends would kiss him with an open mouth.

"Michael said I did not love him as much as this other friend. The next step was when Michael rubbed up against me in bed. We would lie on top of each other with erections.

"During May of 1993 we were in Monaco...that's when the whole thing really got out of hand. We took a bath together. This was the first time we had seen each other naked. Michael named certain of his children friends that masturbated in front of him.

Michael then masturbated in front of me. He told me that when I was ready, he would do it for me. While we were in bed, Michael put his hand underneath my underpants. He then masturbated me to a climax. After that Michael Jackson masturbated me many times both with his hand and with his mouth.

"He had me suck one nipple and twist the other nipple while he masturbated. On one occasion when Michael and I were in bed he grabbed my buttock and kissed me while he put his tongue in my ear. I said I didn't like that. Michael started to cry.

"Michael told me I should not tell anyone what had happened. He said this was a secret.

"I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct."


McLACHLAN'S VERDICT: "The slow burn is the predatory paedophile's standard tactic in the hunt for victims. It starts with just a simple hug. Then a kiss on the cheek. Then on the mouth.

"If at any point the child objects, his groomer pretends to be upset, saying what's wrong with a little kiss, piling blame on his victim until he gives in. These are the actions of a pervert. The tactic even creeps into Jackson's documentary with Bashir as he tries to justify his sleeping with boys.

"He kept saying, ‘What's wrong with showing my love', pleading for sympathy."

Then there is the disturbing testimony of Jordy's stepfather David Schwartz, now 54.

Alarm

The papers that carry his evidence say he feared the growing influence the singer was having over his wife and family. He was never invited to Neverland and claims Jackson tried to turn his family against him.

His alarm grew when he discovered the singer had a key to the family home in Santa Monica.

"On at least one occasion Schwartz discovered Jackson in a closed bedroom with Jordy. When Schwartz asked what was going on Jackson responded, ‘We're just having fun'," says the testimony.

"He repeatedly asked Jackson whether he was having sexual contact with Jordy. Jackson denied any such wrongdoing.

"On August 17, 1993, Schwartz discovered that Jackson had in fact molested Jordy."

Later, Jordy's real father, dentist Evan Chandler, took custody of his son and launched the court proceedings.

The social worker at the centre of the case, Anna Rosato, was never in doubt that Jordy was telling the truth. Jordy told her how Jackson would put his hands into his shorts and say: "This is going to be great."

Then after masturbating him, the star would say: "Wasn't that good?" She steadfastly concluded that Jordy was "consistent in his story."

Retired Det Chief Insp McLachlan—who has a degree in forensic psychology—agrees with her. He is also sure of what he saw bubbling beneath the surface of the Bashir interview—which Jackson later denounced as a "gross distortion of the truth".

"Gavin has his head on Jackson's shoulder and is holding his hand as he hears his hero trying to convince him, as much as us, that there is nothing wrong.

"He says the children insist on sleeping in his bedroom. This is what a paedophile would do— shifting the blame.

"I have seen so many cases that follow these patterns. The Jordy papers brought back all the horrors of my 11 years hunting paedophiles."

The documents may have been gathering dust—but the case is still not closed. It has been filed under "Open But Inactive" by LA cops.

Those papers may yet come back to haunt Michael Jackson
