Jovitalk Christmas Do - UK (or anyone else)

Ok - talk of Northerners meeting up. But Tom suggested this a while back.

Was thinking along the lines of hiring a BJ cover band & getting a function room out in a pub. I could orgainse it - obviously money would need to be up front to ensure everyone comes. But would be a good way to meet up.

Anyone interested - or can suggest a cover band / venue??

where does nottingham sit in the grand scheme of things? being in glasgow, even manchesters a fair treck down in a bus or train for me but do u not think it wud be cool if we cud get a band together with people from here? i cud drum or do guitars/bass, letit rock could take lead, mcrock/gimp could do keys n some other people?

would be a bit of a challenge u know but its bon jovi so we know it inside out really.

Its a possibility. The place I put a link for is in Crewe - near Wolves, which is pretty central - although a hike fo ru. There r some cheap hotels nearby though. I'll get some details from the place soom when they reply.

having our own band could be messy though, as everyone would wanna do it....... but could be fun - although I don't think we'd match the quality of an established cover band, as none of us have played together - & some of the guests will just want a good show. As I said though, just trying to get numbers at the moment - we can discuss this in a bit.
