1. Jimmy Page - not always perfect technically but such delivery and soul
2. Jimi Hendrix - ditto but more technically perfect
3. Richie Sambora - incredible all around sound
4. Steve Vai (fantasic but not part of a musical band since Zappa)
5. David Gilmour - I think he deserves the slowhand nicname not Clapton
6. Mark Knopfler - also very well rounded
7. Tony Iommi - flashy
8. Joe Perry - it's a shame to put this guy and the next this far down
9. Jeff Beck -
10. Eric Clapton (older stuff - not anymore)
11 George Harrison - an honorable mention because he is under rated

Lots of Bryan Adams fans think Keith Scott is a very good guitarplayer which he isn't. He's an average player that doesn't belong between the big players like Sambora, Perry and the other real great names. He hasn't developed his own style and any studio musician could replace him, and when it comes to his live performances the only reason he's unreplacable would be that he and Bryan have great interaction with eachother on stage. But as it comes down to personal taste I can't tell you he doesn't belong on this list.
They asked for a personal list ... IIIIII want to add him so I CAN and no one needs to say I can't... If I want to add him, then I want that ! No surprise it's you again who is arguing me ... It's getting boring and very predictable you know ...
