Default Just bought a bike

one of the old fashoined ones, you know the ones you actually use your legs to move

do you even get them in america?

just to get me from here down to the gym for the summer but im planning to take it in and out to uni when I start back. I'm going to have such a tight ass it'll be unbelievable *feels ass*

any other cyclists out there?

on a slightly related note. any joggers? I went for the 1st jog of my life last night since I didn't make it to the gym and nearly died. an hour on the treadmill is nothing, 45 minutes of jogging and I felt like I was on acid Ill stick to my bike and the treadmill.

Jogger here.
Haven't touched a bike in nearly 2 years, nor do I intend to, and I don't like the treadmill either, it just feels like I'm running in the same place.
i Jogg to and from the Gym(about a half an hour to get there and half an hour to get back), it makes for a good warm up, and cool down process.

But enjoy you bike!

Perhaps because that's exactly what you are doing?

that's the thing that got me, the different terrains and the length of time. usually i go really hard on the tread for 10 minutes starting on a gradient and moving it up every 2 and a half minutes and it kills you but ten minutes and you;'re done, once you've jogged a couple of miles, you've got to turn round and do them again y know.

Ha! I swear the city of Seattle and surrounding neighborhoods has more bicycles than cars. These people ride their bike to and from work!!! Which is rather annoying and complicates traffic. We also must have the biggest population of mountain bikers. Every other car is an SUV and the rooftop carrier either has bikes or kayaks on it during the summer. In the winter its skis or snowboards.

I hate jogging. I am not made for jogging. My body refuses to jog. It's like hell. I do it anyway, but I hate every single second of it. The only time running is nice is if it rains - for some reason. Though, I tend to fall and land in huge mud pits - face down and such. Like I said - I am not made for jogging. I used to run with my dog but now she is getting too old for that and I am reduced to walking - time to get another dog.

I know what you mean, it is kinda annoying, but it's fun, and you actually see the world, plus when you're in a bit of a hill, it's always nice to push yourself a bit harder.
But I'm just one of those people that seems to have endless amounts of energy until I'm done with what i'm doing.
