Just something I'd like to share.

First of all, great lyrics!

Since I've been doing similar things (writing lyrics, for a girl, online etc.) I'd like to add the following although I'll be speculating.

Writing a song like you did (and I like to quote the centre here: from a lover to a friends), posting here about how badly it worked out and so on, makes me suppose you still love her in a way or would like to love her. As I said I've done similar things, I wanted to keep at least the friendship alive, I finally had to admit to myself, I did all that cause I loved her - not just as a friend. Speculating it is the same with you, I'd like to tell you to be happy with her reaction cause it makes it easier to come over it.
