Kill The Squirrel
I moved into my nice new house only to find that there is another tenant up in the attic. Yes, a freakin squirrel. Now there is squirrel crap, pee and other horrible things up there. Anyway, my question is does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of it? We have tried poison, traps etc. but it doesn't want to go. With the holidays, we are having a hard time trying to get someone to fix the hole where the squirrel is getting in. But in the meantime, I need to get rid of the darn thing. Tonight my husband's foot went through the bedroom ceiling as he was trying to set another trap. Yes, this is bad.

Gee Mouse - Exactly the same thing happened to me when I moved into this house in Ridgewood. We blocked the access with chickenwire temporarily until spring when we could do a more complete repair. Our squirrel seemed to like to go in and out - so we waited until it was out and nailed small mesh wire over the hole. Can you do something like that yourself? That was all we could do at the time since we didn't even know who to call for help here. Good luck

plant a tree. Thats what squirrels live in
ps. if its a grey one, its vermin so you can shoot the ****er and take it to the rspca and they give you money (in theory) oh wait, they arent vermin in your country

We have a situation like that here at work. One of our tenants has a squirrel in her loft, its getting in through the holes, so we're having them filled in (obviously makign sure the squirrel has gone first!!) We've also had houses with bats in the loft too
