know anyone who's commited suicide?

I knew 2...
both former school mates. one of them hung herself in the forest - her uncle found her the other one jumped down a freeway bridge - both dead

My sister is staying at her fiancee's house a few hours north of here at the moment and in this last week they found a body of a guy who apparently commited suicide.

I find it quite creepy too

I know nobody who ever tried to kill themselves. Not that I know anyway.

My best friend's first husband shot himself.
another friend's grandfather also shot himself.

My mom's uncle drowned himself in the family pool something like 30 years ago. My wife was leaving him and he couldn't cope with it or something like that. A brother of someone I went to school with threw himself in the Credit River and died. No one really close to me has committed suicide though.

My friend's ex-boyfriend tried it because she broke up with him. He used pills and then phoned her. She was with me at the time and she kept him talking whilst I phoned the police and drove over there, we spent the whole night in the hospital and he was committed for a couple of weeks. It was a strange night to say the least.
