i just received bury my heart at wounded knee from the good people at amazon this morning

i've never really been into american west history until i started teaching it but now im totally fascinated by it.

it's nice to stop reading about nazi's once in a while

That book is so good - you will never look at this country and it's policies in the same light ever again. Not always comfortable or easy reading but at least it's a break from the Nazi's LOL

don't worry i've got a couple of cool books on albert speer to read once i'm done with the american ones i've got but it's a really fascinating period of history and not one i know that much about.
