Mouse - my son told me that when they read The Catcher in the Rye, the Muslim girl in his class was required (by her father) to leave and sit in the principal's office until they were finished discussing the book I can't imagine. I am a parent that has always refused to censor anything - I prefer to explain and educate - but that kind of blind attitude will ruin good education fast.
