JBJ's useless trivia 2937: The Church of Scotland is technically an illegal body and has no legitimacy even to this day as the laws passed to recognise it as the main religion of Scotland were never ratified by Mary Queen of Scots.

I had an exam this morning. that's todays excuse

I know my limitations n I'm not going to do anywhere as good on this one as the other two but I should still fair OK. my tutor seems to love me because to quote her words "i have a way of coming up with different perspectives ont he issues raised" which actually means: I have to come up with my own shit instead of what other historians have wrote cause I don't read any books on the subject but hopefully that'll help me tomorrow.

but i digress. more useless trivia: mary queen of scots' 2nd husband Lord Darnley was murdered in mid February 1567, she married the Earl of Bothwell less than 3 months later. Only problem being that Bothwell was the main suspect in the murder of Darnley. He'd probably have been jailed if anyone had actually liked Darnley. It was all a bit O.C. back then

wooo I';m done.

my exam today was a just a we ebit harder than the other two.....

1: explain why James IV and James V invested in public displays of magnificence during their reign with regards to renaissance kingship

2: To what extent was Mary of Guise succesful during her regency reign in 1556-1560

and peopel say history is just dates and places :-S

I maaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyy have a resit on my hands but we'll worry about that later.

time for a few beers and proper post exam debauchery over the weekend

Sounds like a top university that you are studying at. There must be quite a lot of job prospects for someone with a history degree too.

ooooh a bitter and sarcastic post by krb whatever is the world coming too?

but i digress

Got 2 out of 3 results back and I passed both and the 3rd I'm waiting on is a cert for a pass so it's really just a matter of waiting for it.

I only missed A's on both results Ive got back by 1 and 2% and going by that, i'm inclined to think my western european history has got to be an A since it was much easier than the other 2.

k party time tonight (and in prague this weekend)
