So long as he sorts himself out before the middle of July, when I visit Rome. I can just imagine the fun atmosphere in the city if he dies while I'm there. I think he's going to hold on for another couple of years yet, you know these holy types.

The latest in Italian press is that he's in a coma. I say he's dead already, but they just won't announce it until everything is ready.

its not having fun allwyn just a bet thats all, its still sad that hes going to die today. at least he will get to see his maker well thats what he believes
And betting on someone death is not making fun?. It doesn't matter who is dieing, its still ungratful to me.
Duh. It's got nothing to do with making fun of his death, but the way people make it look like he's still alive by putting him in front of a window each day. Let the guy die peacefully, instead of making his life more miserable. This is just another example of "Gods" will, and the immoral way all Christians think.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
not all christians think the same way ! I dont even agree with the idea of a pope , I dont see that the pope is more special than the next man who prays.

I think the media do announce deaths at set times , usually evenings when UK/US/Europe times are all watching tv. Shame it is done this way.

I hope he dies peacefully, he has been a good respected pope.

Dawn

Never thought I'd live to hear an Anglican say such a thing

They should think the same way, they should do what the bible says, and if they don't do so, they're not a good christian.

Well he's supposedly dead now:

Pope reportedly dead
News agencies report Pope has died; no Vatican confirmation.
