there's only about 1 murder every 2 years or something (not even that) where i live...the last one was a wife shot to death by her husband 2 houses from me and I thought that was crazy, but you have that happening all the time! you live in a crazy place, Jim, crazy.

i was thinking bout it and remembered a couple of more today.

k there was a drug dealer shot by some guys hired by the russian mafia (seriously) in broad daylight in front of his wife in the estate my ex girlfriend stays in. he stood on a few too many peoples toes on the way up.

the copper that got his head smashed in at the gay spot

the dude that the dealer murdered in a gang fight then dumped the body in another scheme so it looked as if he'd bveen attacked there

a young guy got murdered just up the road from me in about april cos he was a bit of a fanny and hit some guy with a pole. the other dude didn't like this very much so chased him and stabbed him outside 1 of my mates closes and he died there.

a guy that lived in the close across the road from me in my old scheme set about a guy with a meat cleaver after an argument cos the dude that got killed said the killers son had stole his mobile fone and that he was going to chop him up if he didnt give him it back.

some young guy got murdered outside a primary school just outside my gym for some reason. dont really know what went on there.

thats all within the past 2 years and their seriously all within a 5 minute drive from my house. mind u thats only the guys that have died there's been plenty of stabbings etc... fact a while ago i was in a bit of a crazy pub for a mates football teams nite out and the bouncers kicked some guy that was dealing out of the pub and he ended up trying to shoot he bouncer outside the pub when we were all in it.

might bring this up when the next lefty gun debate comes up but in the midst of all the shit that goes on in my area i've never felt the need to carry anything. not a bat, not a knuckle duster or even a knife and i don't walk around at night worrying about people attacking me or whatever so maybe the gun thign has alot to do with peoples paranoia?
