ill argue that strongly made, you missed the point...erm yes people can interpret anything in anyway...sure

this is what out tutor was trying to say and he was trying to get us to do actual work but we were busy lol

what im saying is its not just interperated that way...not another one bites the dust anyway...it cant be cos of the way its done...

8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8

with things like a Phycabilly band called the Meteors that is rather different. thier albums feature satantic message that were NOT intended by the band, in the precoess of the vinly being cut and pressed the the factory mysteriously burnt down. the half cut pressings were shipped to seven different yeards to continue and its known/said/thought that they tracked the 7 sins of the devil...one sin for each of the even bildings.

its scary stuff and it REALLY isnt recommended for ANYONE to play the vinyl back thats even if they can find it, its pretty scarey and distubing stuff. if you play the CD tracks backwards you dont get anything as they (as with everything) get masterd when it goes onto CD, so it is weird that it only appears on the vinyl....

as i said its not very pleasent and its not just a rumor.

i guess with everything you have to belive in it though...is it holloween or summet where you say "candyman" in the mirror 3 times or something...whatever it is you have to belive in things like that but with the queen track im just guessing its how it came about...if you try it you will be suprised, as for the Meteors...well, yeah....take care folks

Here I'd like to dispell the myths and analyze the reversal of sound and audio for what it really is: mostly a bunch of unintelligible garbage that makes no sense to our brain unless we look so closely into it we're not seeing the forest for the trees. The accidents that make up phrases in reverse are revealing only that our minds can put together anything if we work hard enough. To quote Jules Renard: "Look for the ridiculous in everything and you will find it."

This, if it is not already obvious, is a complete accident. The reversed phrase barely resembles "It's fun to smoke marijuana" distinctly - it would be better translated to "'s fun-a scout mare-wanna". However, the important consonants exist to make the correlation between the two easy to do. The phonetic analysis is somewhat complex - it is left as an exercise to the reader.

And during Priest's trial in Nevada, the band wanted to show the court that any album could be accused of containing subliminal messages due to the natural phenomenon of sound recording, so Rob Halford shuffled through some random albums until he came across a song that illustrated the point quite well:

"I played the track backwards and suggested to the judge that what he'd heard was, 'I asked her for a peppermint. I asked her to get me one.'
When the judge heard it, his eyes lit up. It was as if he realized how ridiculous the whole thing was."

dude if your talking about the queen thing then its not like that, your not getting it, we recorded it outselves to prove ourselves wrong and it must of been its nice to soke marajuana then they played it backwards...as for the meteors and led zep and so on then yes, they are what peoplle interpret but with freddie it was intentional...well ish.

as for the bald headed rob halford he'd do anythinf ro money these days lol

!

What do I hear if I play Another One Bites the Dust or Ogre Battle backwards?
Probably whatever you want to hear. It has been rumored that this song says 'Its fun to smoke marijuana' when played backwards. After much discussion, the QMS decided that there was absolutely no truth to this. Several people also tried recording the words "another one bites the dust" themselves and then playing them backwards. They decided that those words just coincidentally sound vaguely like that particular phrase.

Brian was asked the above claim in an issue of Q magazine in the mid-ninties and denied any deliberate backward masking in any Queen song.
