Default London :: Need info & help

As you all know we are planning this trip now !! It's going pretty wel so far (see announcement in this forum).
Now I guess a lot of you have already been there.
Can you give me some info (sites, ...) about the travelling. We already found a hostel but are looking now for the cheapest way to come (from Belgium too London. Eurostar seems more expensive then Ryanair. Anyone has ideas from the boath? Probably cheap but of course you're not in London yet ...

So help me out Thanx hunneeess

If you came on a boat you'd be looking at a hefty train fare to get to London. If you flew to Stansted with Ryanair, it would probably cost around £15 to get to your hostel from the airport. Have you considered the Coach? Take a look at Eurolines website (I don't know the address, sorry) which would give you info and prices. It would drop you right in the centre of town as well. (Victoria Station)

I live in London so feel free to PM me with any other questions.

I'll be flying EasyJet to London. I suggest you fly Ryanair from Brussels, mush cheaper and quicker. Where is the hostel Vallie.. I hate hostels and I would like to check it out first (yes, I'm moaning...)

its very basic accommodation, tash. i slept in that hostel 2 years ago for 3 nights. its great for having fun with your mates, but its not really comfortable. most dorms are quite big... and its loud at night, too. but to be honest i dont mind sleeping there cos i'd rather spend my money on other things :P

however, i can recommend you quite a good hostel right across the street from King's Cross/ St. Pancras. Check it out, it was really nice and comfortable!

easyjet, ryanair and basiqair are the cheapest ways to fly. By boat or train is at the end even more expensive. The cheapest way would be by bus( you know a trip to London with a buscompany like P. Langhout or so)
