As I thought the cables are the yellow/white/red. The yellow one carries the picture, the white is left channel and the red is right channel audio.
The best cable to use is an RGB SCART cable, I presume that TV's there do have SCART sockets aswell as the aux ones. The sockets are usually on the back, whereas the aux ones are on the front, which I guess you use as you mentioned that.
SCART socket, there will probably be 2 of those on the back of your TV.
That is what the SCART cable looks like, you should be able to get a couple cheap (well the more you pay the better quality really)
They are better quality than the composite aux ones though and with cables in the back they make the setup look neater than having cables stuck out at the front
