the next full lunar eclipse might be a while but there are between 3 and 4 partials a year and they are still brill to watch.
i didnt see last nights myself but the last one i saw ( a good while ago now) was the one that went blood red that's something special.
anyhow

I saw some of it, but because it was cold outside (I couldn't see the moon from any of the windows) I didn't stay out for long. I wish I lived in the country, where the only light is from the moon, so then it would have been completely dark for a brief time! I think that would have been awesome! I heard the next one is next year sometime. Jess, you may have been thinking of the solar eclipse, which is much rarer. It only happens every so many years. The next solar eclipse may be in 2007.
