They really don't get viruses! Something to do with how the operating system is written - Unix based? My husband is a programmer - He said windows has a bunch of "back doors" for hackers to go through and wreak havoc. Mac's OS is locked down tight - no "back doors" = no viruses. He's the Mac genius, not me.

That's not true. The reason Mac doesn't have that many viruses (there are some) is because it's not that popular system. The more popular an OS or a browser gets, the more people try to code viruses for it.

Mac isn't really any more safer than Windows is, but nobody bothers to attack it. Yet.

LOL I heard that joke that it's mac users that create virus .. I don't think it's true but the picture is funny ... I am not smart enough to create a virus ....

thanks to take time to put this on a site just for posting it here Javier .... your iMac look like dynosaurus .... Macintosh have a lot of different sorts of computers not just iMac and yours is OLD (1999 model ) but works fine though I used it then my husband and my elder daughters and this is now my 9 years old daughter one (still working without any crash yet )
