How on earth, really, can anyone know how you would act in the position this family has been put in? It is absolutely unimaginable - to imply they are likely murderers because they want to return home after 125 days seems just plain callous.

Erm... I never said I knew how I'd behave in such a terrible situation (quote: "but then again I don't know how the normal way to behave in this kind of terrible situation is.") nor did I say how they should act. I just commented on two facts (1: they've been named as suspects. 2: they've returned home just after that) and then passed quite a mild opinion on it: "weird".

If this is in poor taste to you then I wonder how you can live in modern society

Portuguese police say they have found firm DNA evidence that the body of Madeleine McCann was in the boot of the family's hire car five weeks after she went missing, sources have told Sky News.

I *do* think it's in poor taste, though, to be speculating over the Mccan's motives largely for entertainment. It's salacious and slighlty demeaning to us all.

Not the worst thing in the world, just something that makes me stop and cringe.

And apologies for singling you out. If I had taken your comment in the context of your other remarks I would have seen this was unnecessary.
