The process itself really isn't tricky -- the only flub-ups I made (I made four matching shirts for my friends and me for the Giants shows) was that on one, I ironed on the image and it wasn't exactly in the center (oops -- you might want to measure first, LOL) and on another, I didn't realize that I had to let the wax paper cool before I removed it from the shirt to unveil the image (no harm was done; I was just wondering why the image wasn't set yet).

PS For inspiration, here is a clear picture of the shirts I made for my friends and me for Giants (it was originally the back of an old shirt from the New Jersey tour, but I found a picture of it on eBay, edited it and enlarged it with my imaging program, and embellished it with rhinestones. I'm the one in the middle -- my Mom has one on, too, but it's not as clear:
