Making of DVD

Hey all!

I would like to make a dvd containing some videos and photos. My plan is to cut some footage from one video, insert other part from another one or a picture, and so on. And then there would be some music in the background. In other words, it would be some kind of a clip.

So I would like to know if yoou know one or more programms which I could use for that purpose?

It should be able to cut the selected part of the video, delete the sound from it, put different music in the background (like mp3), join various part of such videos together and so on. You know what I mean

Anyone?

I use Ulead DVD Workshop to author most of my dvds. I would use Womble's MPEG Video Wizard to obtain clips form other DVDs and other sources. You can then drop the clips and / or pictures into DVD Workshop. Neither of these are free programs though if that's what you need.
