on a side note: i nearly bought a bottle of whisky for £100 last night at a charity auction i was at. i woulda won if one of my mates hadn't literally grabbed me to stop me bidding.

i was pissed off at him but in hindsight he did me a huge favour. i'dve been even more pissed off if i bought it and passed it around the pub.

that's me off it till london.

good morning boys and girls!
this i guess, is the second part of my private drinking blog. today i got up at 12 o'clock sharp- meaning i was 5 1/2h in bed. meaning i got to bed at 6:30-yes 6:30. well, what can i say about yesterday? it was fun- that's for sure. it was party in my students hall. 750ppl including some of myvery best friends. but let me start from the beginning.
after my lecture ended at 17h yesterday i went home and slept for an hour- then i prepared myself for the night and a friend came and we got us some pizza so that our stomach wouldn't be filled with alcohol only. it's like that: if you don't eat before you go drinking you stomach absorbs the alcohol much faster than if it's already filled with something else- pizza in my case. while eating pizza we watched our "2008 challanger football team" losing 2:5 to germanys squad scoring two own-goals withing 1 minute. congrats, you guys are gonna enshame the whole country at the euro 2008. so we sat there eating and certainly drinking beer. after there was no more beer in my etage we decided to continue having some beers downstairs at the party. we drank and drank and friends came and came. soon we were at "dancing level" and entering the the dancefloor the first guys we saw- you guessed it already- were my two friends from vorarlberg. hugs and kisses. and then the party started. i had a great time shaking though i'm aware of myself being the worst dancer ever. when i looked at my watch at some point this evening it already was 3:34- and i just thought " holy shit- this is gonna be a loooong night. i can't recall precisely what it was that the night passed so damn fast. i just remember shaking always being tempted to get on the bar where some others danced. and i remember telling this the sister of a friend of mine- she took my by the hand trying to get me up there. the thing is: as much as i like her brother (don't worry guys- i'm straight) as much do i hate his damn sister. she's a bitch really and i tell her everytime i can. so i didn't end up dancing at the bar- thank heavens. instead i got back to my friends doing the only thing i recall from 22:00-5:00: shakin'! i must've been damn wasted by that time. and soon some of my friends started going home what i didn't understand at all. suddenly i figured out that the dancefloor was nearly empty and i thought this to be the lamest students hall party of all time. so i went to veronika (my sweet vorarlbergerin) and complained that the dancefloor was nearly empty and she just shook her head laughing, pointing at her watch saying something like "martin- you're an idiot- it's ****ing half 5 so there's no use in wondering that ppl actually go home"
another lil anecdote just came to my mind. while shaking, they suddenly played a song i haven't heard for years- it's that "you're unbelievable" song from some band and some movie. the first time i heard it i was digging on a girl. she was 23, i was 18 (or 17?) she was exchange teacher at a school and i met her at that ball. i finally landed in bed with her. she was irish. i love that story. so i told it to a friend of mine. and i told it to my lil vorarlbergerin. and this turned out to be a mistake. she knew exactly what she was doing when she asked for further stories and i was fool and drunk enough to give in. so i told her some really ugly stories of mine. stupid is as stupid does... guess that changed her thinking bout me a bit.
we ended up at the schnapps-bar. but from then on i only talked to veronika i think. we were standing in a corner and trying to bring me out of that miser situation i got deeper and deeper into it. then some guy came and wanted to get her off of me for his own good- i just told him to f?ck off telling him that she was already mine- he looked a bit startled but veronikas "that's right- so get a move" made things clear to him.
then a friend of us came from the nearby gas station shop with a six pack of beers and a sixpack of eggs and we went to their etage eating ham and eggs. at some point i just went. i was weary, drunk and satisfied of having a nice evening- looking out of the window made my eyes hurt cause it was already past dusk. 6:30- that was enough...
