of course u didn't. neither did judge or jury. ain't it weird what money can do.

blinded my cash, light, whatever and here's the result. Of course it's not wrong to swing ones d!ck around in company of kids. sure thing. just an innocent kind nudity. sure.
the prosecution was not shut up by money, even old allegations were heard in court.....

boys and men are brought up bathing and swinging their dicks around together !

Dawn
it's not that the jury was given money - the jury was starstruck in front of a famous pop star!! If he was Joe Doe, he'd be getting his ass raped right now.

NO! Boys and men are NOT brought up swinging dicks around - for the purpose to get a hard-on! It's sick and anybody trivializing what this guy did is equally sick.

the case wouldnt have been brought to court due to lack of evidence, its only because he was a star that it got anywhere.

you are assuming that men get their dicks out to get a hard on, thats not true , men often spend time together with their dicks out whether they have hard ons or not.

If someone associates nudity only with sex then no-one will ever be able to comfortable being nude around anyone else. This is quite true with teenagers; when I went swimming a few years ago with friends they would go out of their way to change and dry off under a towel, aswell as showering in their shorts. I ended up staying in the pool longer so I didn't have to do that, as had I just showered and changed normally around them (ie naked) I'd have been branded a pervert or something and, as I'm sure you know, teenagers are cruel.

If you do normal things but without your clothes on it doesn't mean you are a pervert or do it for sexual reasons, simply that you are comfortable doing that, I'm sure during hot weather lots of people would like to remove their clothes but don't, even in their own homes.

I think it's probably more of a problem in the US though, maybe in Europe we are just more relaxed, we didn't kick off a fuss over that "incident" with Janet Jackson.

To relate this to the topic though why would it matter if Jackson was nude with others, be they child or adult, relative or friend? Of course if there where underlying sexual reasons then yes it would be wrong, but otherwise I fail to see a problem with it.

NO, this is not Europe vs. US. Don't tell me you wouldn't be highly suspicious if your neighbor would ask your son over for play time and during that time get naked with him.

I am not even addressing the other babble about innocent nudity, cause I already explained my view and you and Dawn keep taking it out of context.

OK firstly I don't have a son, but presuming it was a real situation then it would depend on the circumstances. If I had a neighbour who I considered a friend and I trusted them, and for instance they had a pool and invited myself or a member of my family to use it, clothed or not, then I would. If they just said "can your son come and play with me naked" then of course that would rouse my suspicion.

Obviously if it where a stranger then no I wouldn't let them, clothed or not. The nudity is not a factor if you trust someone and trust them with your child.

Neil, you don't go walking around with no clothes on, just because you feel comfortable without them, are ya? People would feel offended and would think you're some sort of weirdo. To say the least. Just like when you'd be naked in front of other people's children - people will also start thinking things about you. And you don't want that if you're an average Joe, but you certainly don't want that when you're Michael Jackson, people already think you're wacko and when there already were rumors about sexual abuse. You just don't want that just because you feel comfortable without clothes.

I'm not suggesting everyone walk around in public or spend time with strangers and/or their children nude because yes that would be suspicious, I'm talking about at home, in the company of family and friends who you can be comfortable around.

You go to the beach and show all but perhaps 5% of your body, and that of course leaves you with horrible white bits afterwards. I know some people aren't as comfortable nude in the presence of others, but being nude is just about the most natural thing there is. Animals are nude (but tend to have more bodily hair than us) and their "privates" are on show, and generally look the same as ours, but no-one puts clothes on them to hide their "naughty bits"

Like I said I'm not suggesting being nude in public or with strangers, just that I don't think it's a big deal among people you know, love and trust.

You are probably talking family here and in a very general way.

Unfortunately, most sexual abuse on children is done by people the parents and/or children trust. Such as a friendly neighbor or uncle.

Yes, cos I'm sure they were getting a tan in his bedroom!

Fact is, it is unacceptable behaviour and wrong. Nudity around swimming pools/beach etc. fine IF other people are present but the issue here is that he got naked with kiddies in his bedroom - tell me when this starts getting a bit suspicious to you Mr. Anderson!

There's being unbiased and there's being blindly naiive - you are obviously the latter!

i think its great how dawn can say with great authority that the trial should have been thrown out without reaching court when she a) wasn't in the courtroom and (more importantly) b) isn't legally trained.
