While they are starting a war in the Middle East, will they invade Israel as well, since they never gave anything about any resolution? On the way back, will they visit North-Korea, who openly admits it has nuclear weapons? And when this is all over, will the US give up their nuclear/chemical/biological weapons as well and stop the space shield (which violates another treatment) project?
Will they agree to the International Court of Justice?
Will they sign the Kyoto agreement? US was about the only one not to sign it.

And wonder this: why have something like a veto, when they don't give a sh*t about it? They should get rid of that veto thing then.
Why is this Iraq thing a big issue now anyway? It's been 12 years since the Gulf War and why now? Why not one year ago, or one year later from now? Tell me? I want to understand.

well its simple the USA want to take control over the gaz-petrole in the middle east. ( they basically want to finish what was sarted in the gulf war)
so why not start a war to kick out Saddam and put a friend of your government at the head of iraq so the USA could control an other country in the world.

Exactly, we all know that this war isn't being faught because Sadam has an evil regime, that's killing thousands of people, even though old Tony thinks he's tricked us all .

My response to that is you are neglecting the fact we let any foreigner in here to live "The American Dream."
Mousebounce quote.

So do we here in England!!!!!!!!! I dont agree with this war, the Iraqs support Saddam so why should we save people that dont want to be saved. Also Saddam is no threat to US or Uk. US have used 911 as emotional bait to get the US people on side. I ahve seen no evidence that 911 is Iraq linked. Isreal and Korea are more of a threat than Iraq.

yeah but the truth would sound like: "Please can the United Nation help us, the USA, to conqueer the Middle East because we want to make more money and dominate the world".

That would not pass! so the're using this diplomacy crap instead...

I hope you mean that the diplomacy isn't working because America will do what they want, despite what others may think? Diplomacy is increadibly important, the fact it seems to have been slightly taken the piss out of with this crisis is besides the point.

for anyone who has seen the movie 'the princess bride' ... the main reason behind the war is simple....

"my name is George dubya, you embarassed my father. prepare to die".

this talk of war is personal, political and economical. There is no desire to save innocent Iraqi people, there is no making the world safe, there is no protecting the other nations....its all about hypocracy.
