Why wouldn't you want us to lead your world?? :P

I would love to go live on Mars, start a new world called Mouseworld, where life is happy and I look at the pretty colored butterflies all day long. Not a bad idea.

Why am I taken to be an idiot?? (Don't answer that one )

Mike

Hmmm.........18 UN resolutions and 12 years later. Yeah, I guess they are rushing things. The UN has proven itself to be wimpy and indecisive. There is nothing for them to say anymore........

The US are breaking all the laws by starting a preemtive war which is by no means legally or otherwise justified

Somebody's already had it. . . . . it's called LSD

I'm actually speaking from stuff I've read, I'd never take the stuff myself, but aparently it has this sort of effect on you

That's right. I forgot that Greece is the only country to report the truth. Did you ever think that maybe the Iraqis want this war because they are tired of being tortured by their tyrant leader? Maybe they had one too many family members tortured and then killed for their liking. Wake up.
if the greek government and the media had any kind of interests in iraq and wanted this war to happen they wouldn't tell us the truth either... that's politics
yeah you're right... i should wake up.... those ppl want to be killed by the US instead of saddam. they'll be looking up to the sky anticipating for the moment that the salutary american bombs will fall and destroy their houses, their hospitals etc. they will be praising the american soldiers for killing their children. you're so damn right... why hadn't i thought about it?
Oh, please, tell me you don't actually believe that Greece tells the truth. How old are you, incidentally? If some Iraqis are wanting war, or agreeing with it, who are you to say it is bad for them? How do *you* know how they are feeling? Let's talk about that propaganda again......
in this case they don't need to lie because they don't have anything to gain from a war in iraq. anyway have you seen or heard from what they show you (or not) any iraqi who actually want this war?
but you have to decide.. either they're being propangadized against the US and they hate americans or they see you as their saviours....
who am i to say that a war for no reason is bad? probably someone who believes in human rights and the value of human life. but luckily it's not only me but millions of ppl around the world.
but how can anyone convince a so narrow minded and uneducated person like you that killing ppl because you want to take advantage of their country is bad?

You are a champion for human rights? And that will be achieved HOW by keeping Saddam in power? He has killed over a million of his own people. I saw an Iraqi on the news yesterday who had his ear cut off by him. What if he poured gas all over you and then lit a match while your family and children were forced to watch...and you can sit there and say you "value" human life?!?! Get real.

I know you are, but what am I......please leave your schoolyard tactics and mature name calling out of this discussion. If you have something worthwhile to contribute, fine. But so far, you've been my source of entertainment. You know nothing about me. Not if I support this war or am against it. But you are alarmingly contradictory in *your* beliefs.

I have to disagree Choc. What Saddam is doing to his people is not legal or justified either. Plus, as of yesterday, Saddam announced that he is prepared to use chemical weapons against the millitary. According to France and other countries, he had no chemical weapons. Guess they were wrong. Now France is saying that if he does in fact have these types of weapons, they would consider sending troops in.

So you see, Saddam is not only hiding his weapons, but creating new ones. There can only be one reason for that.

And why shouldn't Greece tell the truth?
Fortunately in mainland Europe many people are able to speak at least one foreign language fluently so they are not limited to their own country's media sources...
The internet is a great invention...if you know where to look...

still i stick with my opinion.
Preemtive war is never justified. It's against peoples rights and against UN rights and regulations. The US can't use preemtive war...not preventive war would be a different story, but thats not the situation we are in and neither is preemtive war

yeah but the truth would sound like: "Please can the United Nation help us, the USA, to conqueer the Middle East because we want to make more money and dominate the world".

That would not pass! so the're using this diplomacy crap instead...

I hope you mean that the diplomacy isn't working because America will do what they want, despite what others may think? Diplomacy is increadibly important, the fact it seems to have been slightly taken the piss out of with this crisis is besides the point.

sorry if it took me that long!!! Yeah that what I meant. Diplomacy and The United Nations are important. Every country should strive to go along with it.

That's why I cannot approuve what the USA do right now. This war could trigger the World War Three... one country cannot decide to act unilaterally when its action could implicate the whole world.
