You're right it is complex. There are so many sides to this situation and I guess we'll never solve it! I just hope that governments start seeing that letting people in without thorough checks isn't going to solve anything.

Default Romas = gypsies to most people

Unfortunately for centuries the gypsies have been treated badly by society, today their skills taught from hundreds of years ago are now redundant in modern society.
If gypsies want to come to Britain and claim all the resultant benefits, then how is it their fault??
In the Daily Mail scenarion, it must have taken the reporter a few days to find a family that have not mugged his photographer or himself in order to carry out his reporting.
You either can't read Jim or deliberatley forgot the main reason why these Gypsies are entitled to come to Britain.
It is that britain has totally relaxed all visa restrictiions against anyone from the new 10 countries that will join the EU next year.
This is in full compliance with the existing EU Statute. (The fact that other countries like France and Germany have refused to lift their own visa restrictions either means these gov'ternments are racist or facist.
Personally a bunch of neds hanging around a housing scheme in Scotland are less preferable to a bunch of gypsies who are law abiding.

quite amazing what is regarded as racism these days eh? i don't have a problem with people coming here to work but unless u've seen places like toryglena nd sighthill which are relative stones threows away from me then u dont get the full idea of how much these people r abusing the system.

Back in the good old days, people actually had to have a sponsor along with a job lined up to get into the country. It was a process that took years. I am all for chances, but I think there should be rules to ensure that our tax dollars don't go to supporting people who just want a free ride.

Totally agree. Funnily enough though, if you come from an EU country to Holland you need a sponsor. As soon as it's an Eastern European or another one that have a lot of asylum seekers, they can just come in no questions asked and if you do, that is classed as being racist. It is so ridiculous.

exactly. in my 1st post i made no reference at all to their skin colour and only pointed out the country to show it was from the eastern bloc but because i refuse to openly accept degenerates coming into our country with no intention of grafting and just living off the gravy train, thats seen as racist in these times of pointless political correctness.

ive got no problem with gypsies coming into the country if they intend to graft but just the same as most gypsies here, they do nothign except bring down wherever they go and make their way through life without ever doing any proper work.
