Find me the quote where Letitrock says that Eminem is good!!!!!

I think these bands are terrible, but just because Bon Jovi are better than them, and Crush is better than their music, doesn't make Crush a good album, just makes it better than the worst for of music in the world, which isn't really a complement to it now is it!!!!

If feel enlightened, although this was my opinon all along, I never liked either album........

The fact you think Tom is trying to fill KRB's shoes just shows you really dont' have a clue about what you're writting. This has been Tom's (and mine for that matter) point of view from the day Bounce was released.... he's not changing, or being more vocal now that KRB has left, just to try to be controversial.

I don't like Crush and I really don't like Bounce.
Can I join your new usergroup, Tom?

Oh and I prefer listening to music through speakers

I don't need to praise the recent stuff if we don't want to - and of course i'd be lying
I don't praise the new material, I try to defend it. You slag it off constantly, trying to "enlighten" people, as you call it, trying to get them all to see it your way.

I say that I like it, not that it is amazing, because I can understand the fact that different people have diffrent tastes in music. I don't try to persuade people to like it, or to dislike it.

I understand that you don't like it, I just don't understand why you have to remind us about it all the time.

And I'm so sorry that I didn't bother to trawl through ALL of your posts, just to make myself "well read" on you. Even though I spend a lot of time here now, I didn't until the start of the year.
As I think you know from another post, about krb I beleive it was, you told me some stuff about him that I didn't know, which made me change my opinions of him.

So maybe you should help me to understand you better, so that we can have more meaningful arguments and discussions, lol.

I don't think he was refereing to the enlightened as people he'd specifically enlightened, but more a sacastic way of saying the people who have been enlightened to the fact not everything Bon Jovi do is "great".

The reason Tom, me, and others have to remind you is because this is a discussion group, and like it or not, the new album is going to be the brunt of most of the talk. Also, if we can't talk about things we've already discussed, what the hell can we talk about?

The point of having an argument is to try to bring somebody around to your way of thinking. The fact that I try to get people to see the things in Bounce that I don't like, and get them to see things my way doesn't show a lack of respect for their point of view, but a whole lot of respect for argument (not negative) and discussion. If we all say, "it's your opinion, that's nice", then this really would be the most boring place in the world!

I agree. I enjoy the big arguments on here, it's just that instead of stressing opinions, some people tend to just say things like "crush and bounce are crap", giving no indication why, and then when someone like me tries to stress my own opinion, which is usually the opposite, I get ganged up on.

Then why the hell are you having a go at Tom????

He's one of the few people around who genuenly does give his opinon, and justifies it.

Cast your mind back to a topic a few weeks ago, where I was asking people to justify why they considere Homebound Train to be a bad song!

It isn't always nessesary to put "in my opinion" to show that it's your opinon. The fact that there is a post name show it's only his opinion, if he says "bounce is crap", his implied meaning is "my opinion is that bounce is crap", it just doesn't look right to put this in every time..... Are people on here that stupid that they need to have something to tell them what everything is. This only shows again that people don't really read the posts, becuase if they did, they'd know exactly what Tom's opinion is.

You don't get ganged up on, you'll probably be asked to justify it, but if you can then so what. If you get upset when somebody questions your opinion, and youre reasons for having that opinion, then youre at the wrong place buddy! People don't get ganged up on, and if they did, what does it matter? You have your own opinion, and if you can argue out your points, then it doesn't matter if there are 100 people arguing against you, it's still a fair discussion.....

Where did you get that Tom's view is upheld, and defended by everybody. I'd say it's the oposite if anything, whenever I say something negative, there are always people who get offended, and start to use personal insults, because they have nothing to argue with.

Didn't mean to p!ss you off, lol.

Everyone here has different opinions, and having gotten into Bon Jovi myself starting with Crush, this may be a reason I like it. Everyone has their own reason for starting listening to Bon Jovi, and I understand that. If Tom got into Bon Jovi backwith Keep The Faith (I think he mentioned that in another post) then that may be a reason he doesn't like the new stuff, because it is so different.

I believe that some of the songs from the new albums wouldn't sound out of place on Slippery When Wet or New Jersey, but obviously not everyone thinks the same way.

Explain how what you've wrote above means that Tom should stop saying how much he dislikes Bounce??????

Or rather don't. I completely forgot the point of this whole thread, nobody's even mensioned headphones for a page or so!
