thanks everyone! I was quite the experience. It was small, not a huge group of people came out, mostly family, friends, and hopefully some new fans. I did 8 original songs:

ALIVE
CUT ME DOWN
OVER
SLIDE
SURVIVE
STRONGER
THE COLD HARD TRUTH
WHERE DO I FIT IN

We got a band together within a week and they learned the songs quickly and did an awesome job! It was a rock show. I am performing my pop music on Friday at a different venue. It was great to finally get some live experience. I can see now why nothing beats the rush of live performance. I used to think singing in the studio was great, but now I know better! The only problem is, I am still very bad at stage patter. But I am sure it just takes more experience.

I hope you guys get a chance to check out the video clips.

yeah i like being in the studio too (unless ur getting nowhere with it) but getting out in front of people cannot be beat.

getting confident on stage takes time but that comes with experience and it does make all the difference both to u and to the crowd. the next thing i notice after the music is wot everyones doing on stage. u can tell whos been around the block and who hasn't.

telling u man, a few drinks before it and u'll be rocking

That's great, Naomi!

Can you try out for Canadian Idol? Or are you a) not interested or b) not eligible

I agree so much...the confidence or lack-thereof is very evident. I watch the clips after to see what I could have done better and learned from it.

Damn all ages show! No beer garden!
