I know, you'd rather be an unethical, immoral dick. It is rather sad that it takes some English minister to speak up about it, since people are so ****ing after money, they have no morals, ethics or other values. Sad. Very sad.

Bob Geldoff isn't exactly the epitomy of moral. The guy takes his own catering company to every PA he does even if it's for half an hour. Kinda ironic considering how much he wants to save starving African's.

Bob Geldoff and his extravagancies aren't the point. What he said was right on and I am glad he won.

As far as taking his catering company to places, doesn't that put money in the pockets of a lot of people? What's wrong with that??? Rich people spend a lot of money, GOOD cause our economy needs it!

I was just making the point that i regard him and his good mate bono who are harping on at all of us to get our wallets out when Bono hired a private jet to fly a hat to milan he'd forgot to take and Geldoff (who has pretty much lived off the back of live aid) as hypocrites and just because they say making money on the tickets is horrible doesn't necesarilly mean I need to agree or listen.

I've already been offered £500 for them if I get them, me taking that and giving half to charity and having another coupla hundred quid to spend on holiday is more beneficial to everyone involved than just giving them away IMO.

Well me and Carli are heading down to london for Live 8!!! Shame we dont have a ticket, were gonna see if we can get one, and if we dont, then we will just watch it somewhere. This kinda thing is a big risk, but it doesnt happen everyday and we dont have anything to lose really. It wont cost all that much to get down there, but the weekend will depend on how much we end up paying for a ticket. Were not gonna go mad and spend hundreds like some people seem to be willing, but we will see what happens. Its gonna be an adventure to say the least!

my bro's girlfriend has just given me a bollocking less than 15 minutes ago for wanting to sell tickets on.

Guy's like Bono who charge £70 for gig tickets and Elton John who has admitted to blowing close to 40 million quid on "total crap" like flowers and coke are not the people who are going to turn round and make me think I'm being a selfish prick with regards to charity and what I do with my money.
