exactly jess. one of the reasons i want to be a teacher is because I think I could do it well and wether they realise it or not at the time, an education is the best resource a kid is ever going to be given but also because although I wasn't as bad as the kids on this show obviously are, I was never an angel by any stretch of the imagination during my teens.

I come from a pretty rough area and have done some really stupid stuff in my time but I'm testament to the fact that you can say you know what, i want to stop acting like an idiot and do something with my life and I think examples like that can show kids who think they're predestined to a life of drudgery hanging outside a bookies and drinking superlager all day that it's not life or society that determines where they end up, it's them that does.
