My thoughts on Michael Jackson

I think, as messed up as he is, that he is mentally a child and sees no wrong in having kids share his bed. He doesn't think like regular society does, because he's never known society or been a part of it. This behaviour is one of the ways he expresses love and he sees no problem with it because it's not sexual. Have you seen him with a group of children? he's one of them. The man was abused by his father, told he was ugly, and grew up in front of millions. It would be hard to maintain a normal mentality.

I am in no way excusing what he does. I think he just needs a little help and healing. Why none of his family members have helped intervene with the way he raises his children is beyond me.

But any non-celebrity who shared his bed with little boys and dangled babies off a balcony would be charged or in jail by now.

What is this exactly? He didn't share his bed, more lent it, i.e he wasn't in it with them! Also, don't you think the question mark should lie more over the heads of the parents who allow their children to sleep in Michaels bed, rather than him. Surely, if they're responable, they should take controle of the situation. They must feel their children are safe, and be fully awear of what is happening.

I"m guessing the reason non of his family have helped is because they hate each other. If not hate, they certainly don't have a normal relationship.... I pretty sure the sisters don't like him, and I got the feeling that he wasn't at all close with his brothers.

If it was a non-celebrity doing this in Britain, not only would they have no charges brough against them, but their actions would probably result in them recieving numberous benefits.... Is dangling a child out of balcony (whilst keeping a pretty good grip, and doing it for only a few seconds), any worse than driving a car, with a child in, who isn't wearing a seatbelt? I'd argue that when Michael held his child out of the window, he was in controle, if you're in a car, you're not in controle, and it's therfore more dangerous to drive without making sure you're doing everythign you can to ensure your childs safety...... But if we locked away everybody who drove a car without making their children wear seat belts, we'd have more people in jail than out of jail!

I agree that parenting is the main issue here. It's obvious Michael has issues with parenting himself - he claims he wants his children to have a normal life, then doesn't supply anything even close to a normal life for them. If he can't be a responsible parent, I don't know why other parents would let their children sleep over. It's like letting your child go to a sleepover at someone's place where there are NO adults present. Sure, the kids are safe from abduction or being killed, stuff like that. But Michael is mentally a child himself. I don't understand how kids can be allowed to stay at his ranch for days at a time without concern from the parents. I don't care if he's MJ or the next door neighbour, it's shocking.

I can't understand either, I will never leave my children with anyone i don't know really well (i know some of you could say you'll never know even with people you know perfectely), My children are going on holidays to my parents house and for the moment that's all ! They are still young, and we'll see later, but if someone weird like MJ was asking to spend a bit of time with one of my kid, (if the child is a fan etc ... it's hard to say no), but i think have good time in his property and with his "little disneyland" is enough i think and i'll be present ! I'll never leave one of my kids alone with him ! And even if you don't talk about really bad things could happen to a kid, I think it's just strange some parents leave their kids spending a night with an adult ...

it's a shame too because MJ was such a talented man for so long, and he wasn't ugly or anything... he completely through it all away

i feel sorry for him really but he needs some special mental treatment. he shouldn't even be allowed to have his own children near him

I think MJ is a kind-hearted, sensitive person. I also think he is mentally stunted and immature. He says he wants his children to live a normal life, yet he takes them out in public wearing masks. That must really make them feel normal! I fear in 20 years they will be the subject of numerous tv documentaries and magazine articles.

they already are today! but i know what you mean in 20 years or so i wouldn't be surprised if they inherit his abnormalities

I agree 100% with you.
And I also agree that he was a good looking man back in the Thriller days. It's unfortunate that according to MJ, his dad made fun of his appearance and gave him a complex about it.
